How to Make Money With Google AdSense

Hi everybody! My name is Lisa.  I created this little video because I wanted to kind of, help you guys understand a little bit more about how AdSense works and why people are making so much money from it.  If you are new to website building and you are like, “Okay, i don’t get it.  Google will just pay me money for placing ads on my site?”, yeah! that is pretty much the concept.   It sounds really easy on the surface, but there is some work involved.  The key is building first your website and then, more importantly, getting traffic – targeted traffic to that website.  It is not good enough just to put up a website and just submit it to Google and then draw some ads on and expect to be making $2,000-$3,000 per month.  It just doesn’t happen like that.  The key is to find a topic that you are interested in, let’s say, you love to play golf.  You could build a 50-75 page site on golf and help people improve their golf game, give recommendations for the type of equipments to buy for golf – whatever the topic is, it should be something that you love, and that is important because if you love it, you won’t mind building more and more content for the site, and the more content you have, the more likely the search engines will give you more traffic, and you will make more money with AdSense in the long run.  So, for example, let’s say you have this 75-page site on golf, and somebody goes to Google and they type in “How do I improve my golf swing?”  Well, because your site has got a lot of content, it is well-written, Google will like you, just to say, No.2 for that keyword search.  So somebody comes to your site, they read your article on “How to Improve your Golf Swing?”, and let’s say, on the right side of that article, you have some AdSense ads provided by Google.  Well, these ads will be related to your golf topic.  So as they are reading the article about how to improve their golf swing, they may glance over and see a text ad that says “How to better your golf game” and so, that is related to what they are reading about.  So they will just gradually come up there and say, “Oh! What is this?” and they click.  Boom! You get earning anywhere from 10 cents to $0.50, $3, just for that one click.  And just imagine if hundreds of people come to your site everyday and click on those ads, the money starts to add up. 

So basically what you are doing is, you are helping Google to advertise and they are paying you a commission for bringing traffic to their advertiser site.  It is not a scam.  I know, sometimes it is not too good to be true.  It really is easy once you have the site and once you have traffic, but where  lot of people get stuck is they build a site, but they get 10-15 visitors per day and you cannot make much money if you have that amount of traffic.  So, what I would recommend you do is, finish reading this page.  I have a lot of information about how to build your site and how to get the necessary traffic that you need to make money.  Also, read about site-building.  It is further down on the page.  I actually use that for one of my sites and that site basically makes money mostly from AdSense and makes quite a bit of money for a site that I only update a couple of times a month.  Site-building is a whole stores, basically tailor-made for AdSense and if you just go down to the bottom of the page, you will see more about it there.  So, I hope that has helped again.  Most of the information is, you can find a lot more about AdSense if you just read this page, but I just want to put a kind of visual.  Some people would like to hear a voice rather than read a page, so hopefully maybe I have given you a little bit more of an insight on how AdSense works.  You can make a ton of money out here and you just have to put in your work and time and be patient.
